Have any Ottawa journalists ever gotten in touch with you guys regarding a piece that you had written?

Do lawyers count? We suspect some of them read us, you don't get hits from the MSG pressbox without saying something interesting. Thankfully they don't contact us.

If Canucnik invited you guys out for beers, would you accept the offer or would you fear for your lives?

Undecided.  We're generally not in the habit of meeting up with men from the internet for drinks.

Do you know who Sens Chirp is?

Sens Chirp is the quasi-anonymous personality who generates a tonne of traffic with his site. So, yes.

Why are so many of your anonymous posters a**holes?

Because, they like material written by people similar to themselves.

Favourite Senators player past and present?

Graeme - Hossa (past) Alfie (present)

Tim - Mike Peluso (past) Jarkko Ruutu (present)

Favourite Senators Memory?

Graeme - I have three: Duchesne's goal, Igor Kravchuk's empty-netter when ottawa won their first playoff series against Jersey, and Neil Brady's goal. I was there for all of them.

Tim - Game 1 of the 2003 Eastern Conference finals, Senators won 3-2 in OT and I proclaimed it to be the best game ever played and I threw up in the Corel Centre parking lot afterward.

Worst Memory?

Graeme - Lalime's meltdown versus Toronto in 2004. We watched the game at SBP on the big screen.

Tim - 2007 Stanley Cup Finals - Not only did we lose, but I was working nights in a restaurant in Southern Ontario and was relegated to watching the game while I waited tables. A lot of people received very poor service that Spring.

Whats the story behind the 6th Sens?

In February of 2008 Graeme decided to start a blog called My Sports Scene as a hobby to cover his two favourite sports teams, the Blue Jays and the Senators. After writing a few pieces and spamming message boards and local celebrities to garner some interest (hence the Stuntman Stu quote on the old banner). Eventually the focus shifted primarily to the Senators and a new site was opened with a new name to reflect that decision. Graeme bounced some ideas around with Tim, not yet writing for the blog, and Tim came up with the title The 6th Sens and with Graeme's demand to incorporate boyhood crush Alex Daigle into the blog, the tagline "I See Daigle People" was born. Tim joined Graeme at the beginning of 2009. Then as a free agent in the Summer of 2009 we were approached by the Bloguin network and were convinced by their sales pitch and switched locations to our very own and very special URL. That's that.

What's your best piece of Senators memorabilia?

Graeme - A have an inaugural team (92-93) autographed stick that comes complete with a Mark Osiecki signature.

Tim - Either an autographed picture of Spartacat before he was given a proper name. At the time he signed the photo 'The Lion'. I also have a birthday card from the Sens Fan Club signed by Daniel Berthiaume (Who was evidentially my favourite player at the time).

What would you rather buy? Tom Molloy's coaching DVD or one by Canucnik?

Canucnik - Unintentional comedy, ebonics, old time hockey ethos and probably lots of yelling in that 1970's style of production.

Are you insiders? Is this a rumor site?

No. We prefer to dabble in reality.
